Dr Rain Liivoja is a Professor at the University of Queensland Law School and a Director of the Asia-Pacific Institute for Law and Security. His work focuses on international legal issues relating to military operations, and science and technology in the defence context. He has engaged in research, teaching and consultancy on general international law, the law of armed conflict, arms control law and human rights law.
